Have I ever mentioned how much I love my slow cooker? There is nothing better than knowing you will come home to a house that smells like you’ve been in the kitchen slaving all day. This BBQ Pulled Pork recipe is wonderful, we’ve been eating the leftovers & loving them all week. Shout out to all of my Sweet Baby Ray’s lovers out there…the best BBQ sauce!

Throw some cole slaw on top, corn on the grill and you’re good to go!

I know this may be a weird question but which part to you put the BBR sauce in? While it is cooking in the crock pot? After it is done? I made a root beer pull pork sandwich the other day and it was way good! Just wondering, also, where you find the brand of BBQ sauce you use in this recipe?

Hi Michelle! I add the BBQ sauce when I’m done shredding the pork. Sometimes I’ll use less water, so I’ll add more sauce when it comes out. If you have a particularly juicy onion or let it sit overnight though, it comes out really juicy. In that case, I’ll put the BBQ sauce on after it’s on the bun and put the cole slaw on top.
As for fabulous Sweet Baby Ray’s, I bought a three pack at Costco a while back because we love it so much! I know that our Safeway up here has it too.
