It is inevitable that every home will have prescription drugs in it at some point. When I go to clean out a medicine cabinet in my house, there are many expired prescriptions in there. One time, I found a bottle that only had one little pill left inside! I know the medicines are not good to use anymore because they are expired, but I know that throwing them in the trash is not a good way to dispose of them. I also know that flushing old pills down the toilet is a huge no-no because the drugs can seep into the water supply.
