When I think of Werther’s Original, I think of the golden, hard caramel candies that would emerge from my Nana’s purse during church. While most delicious, I was so excited to find out that Werther’s actually makes more than just hard candies!
Their Caramel Popcorn is the best packaged caramel corn I’ve ever tasted.
Their Chewy Caramels are dangerously addictingβ¦I was ashamed to see how many wrappers I had afterward! Oops :)
I love both the Caramel Apple Filled and Creamy Caramel Filled Hard Candies. We ate them while waiting in lines at Disneyland and they are so yummy! Hard on the outside, then when you eat it, the filling inside comes out.

Like you, my first experience with Werthers always involved my grandmother. I can remember grabbing a handful from the bowl on her counter and sitting out in her large backyard slowly eating them. I haven’t had one since I was a kid and I bet the familiar taste would take me back to those times.
